Thankfully the Bratz girls aren’t going away, anytime soon. They might have received just a sprinkling of shade when the Barbie movie came out what with the ‘mean girls’ being named after the four main dolls but they’ve been around since 2001, it will take more than that to see them gone. And as someone who searches, ‘Bratz outfits’ for inspo on Pinterest I’m glad.

So, when it was revealed that Eylure would be releasing a faux lash collection in the name of Cloe, Jade, Yasmin and Sasha I gave one of those annoying excited squeals.
But then it had me thinking about all the brands that have tried to create some sort of Bratz collab and failed miserably (or at least just missed the clear as day mark.)
Oh Polly designed a fashion collection back in 2024 which didn’t resonate with fans the way they had hoped. The promo shots were promising and we can almost see the vision but in reality it was giving more Winx than Bratz (which I honestly wish they ventured to do instead.) There was a lot of sequins, pastels and metallics with sheer fabrics and glitter detail but it felt far too whimsy; especially when it comes to Jade and Sasha, for example.

Dr Martens also attempted to create a Bratz inspired range, this had a little bit more promise with the black and cool toned pink but three pairs of shoes and one bag? Weak, at best. Why they didn’t design a product for each Bratz is beyond me.
Debenhams and Primark often have slogan tees and PJs featuring the Bratz girls which are always a hit but it’s promoting Jade, Cloe, Sasha and Yasmin rather than being inspired by them. Enter Eylure.
The UK’s most-loved strip lash brand has just launched a Bratz lash collection, and erm, it kind of slaps.

The range is made up of four (THANK YOU Eylure) different lash sets and each design includes not only a full lash but also a half lash. Obsessed, I’ll be putting that half lash on my cat Jordan Chickford in no time.
What I god damn loving about this collab is that you can tell thought has gone into the design. From the colour specific packaging to the names of the strips, a Bratz fan was clearly at the helm of this project.
