Zodiac Academy : The Reckoning Review

4.5/5

Zodiac Academy : The Reckoning by Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti

He was danger and power and the worst kind of temptation but I almost wanted to find out just how close I could get before I got burned,” – Tory Vega

Tory and Darcy are ready to prove themselves in the third Zodiac Academy instalment and what better way then to pass The Reckoning?

But with nymphs still at large, shadows around every corner and ‘Hells Week’ upon them, our favourite twins have more than one battle to face.

The Reckoning is potentially the most exciting and action packed of the first three books. The elemental trials the Vegas face are an effective way to showcase the varying powers and magic within the world of Solaria.

The spicy scenes are hotter than ever and after so much tension one of our couples finally crosses into dangerously carnal territory with no hope of turning back.

For our other Gemini gal the line between lust and hate continues to blur as she struggles to fight the ever growing desire for her mortal enemy.

The celestial council is now a key fixture within the series and we spend more time outside of the academy. Once again snippets from the boys POV moves the story forward, adding depth to their characters and presenting them as more than just love interests or the villains.

Not to mention it does well to invite some delicious sexual tension and jealous thoughts.

Mysteries and dark magic come to ahead in last segment of The Reckoning and as a reader we finally have some clarification on the horror that lies ahead for our Tory and Darcy.

Shadow Princess is the title of the fourth instalment on Zodiac Academy and with the promise of passion, politics and the Vegas consistently hilarious mindsets it’s sure to lure me in – hook, line and sinker.
