The Evermore Academy series is a three part story told by Summer Solstice, a mortal who finds herself making a bargain with fae royalty known as The Winter Prince.

Author Audrey Grey understands her audience and when she flies – she soars. The detailed description of the enchanting outfits and beauty make-overs is constant and the fae realm Grey has created is rich with history and myth.
For me the friendship between Mack and Summer is one of the strongest aspects of the trilogy; they give nicknames for the boys they crush on, gossip about school and shoes and always have each otherβs backs. Itβs pure teen nostalgia.
The supporting cast are strong; Summers sprite Ruby brings the jokes, assassin Eclipsa is a total badass and even the bitchy bully Inara is fun to read about.
That being said I struggled with the romance, it felt as though something was missing which seems ironic when the love leads are said to complete each other.
It was originally supposed to be a four book deal – each being named after a season-and, for me, that last novel is needed.
Questions are left unanswered and the last few chapters of Summer felt rushed.
It turns out my biggest qualm is that I wanted more – which as far as faults go isnβt necessarily bad.
The Evermore Academy is a fun, fantastical read that doesnβt take itself too seriously. Full of faeries, monsters and an enemies to lovers romance youβd be silly not to check it out.
